SKIRMISH USA

General Operations and Safety Rules for Airsoft Games

  1. Safety goggles must be worn at all times on or near the playing fields.  DO NOT REMOVE THEM FOR ANY REASON.  All goggles must form a tight seal around your eyes, and must conform to ANSI Z87.1 safety standards.  No mesh and no shooting glasses.  Any player not wearing their goggles properly will be removed.
  2. It is recommended that you wear head, neck, and groin protection, along with proper sturdy footwear.
  3. Carry your gun with the barrel pointed toward the ground and the safety on.  Only fire your gun on the playing fields or shooting range.  Keep your finger off the trigger while not actively participating in a game.
  4. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited.  If you are under the influence you will not be permitted to play.
  5. You are expected to act in a safe and responsible manner while at our facility.  Physical contact is strictly prohibited.
  6. Only biodegradable BB’s are permitted on site.
  7. Please do not break or uproot any living plants.  Smoke only in the picnic area, extinguish your butts and dispose of them properly.  Keep your area clean, and use the trash receptacles provided.
  8. Barrel plugs, barrel covers, or barrel blocking devices are mandatory while not in play.  “Mags out” will not suffice.
  9. Players within 20 feet of an opposing player should yell “bang, bang” to eliminate the opposing player.  The “bang, bang” rule will only remove one player, not an entire group.  “Bang, bang” must be yelled for each and every player you are attempting to eliminate.  “Bang, bang” will not work against targets behind walls or similar obstructions, a clear line-of-sight is needed by the person yelling “bang, bang.”
  10. To eliminate a player, you must strike your opponent’s body with at least one BB.  All shots on the body, including worn equipment, will count as a valid hit.  Shots that hit the gun and ricochets do not count.
  11. Eliminated players are to raise a red death rag above their head, and leave the field without talking or signaling.  Eliminated players may not use radios to communicate with anyone still on field.  Goggles must remain on until you reach the picnic area, or the game is over.  Players showing their red death rag are not to be fired upon.
  12. All guns must be chronographed to the following standards: 400fps with .25g BB’s for AEG’s, and 500fps with .25g BB’s for bolt action, single-shot, sniper rifles.
  13. Players attempting to settle disputes are to call for a field judge.  The judges’ decisions are final.  Failure to abide by the rules or cooperate with the judges or staff of Skirmish USA will result in your removal from the facility without a refund.
  14. Serious injuries such as broken bones, blindness, cuts, etc. can happen while playing airsoft.  Skirmish USA assumes absolutely no responsibility for any personal injury for any reason, including, but not limited to, negligence and faulty equipment.  You are playing at your own risk.
