I must write to tell you how fabulous the day was. My daughter Peyton chose 8 friends to accompany her to Skirmish for her birthday. From first arriving, meeting Karen, who only said my name twice in 3 minutes… Yet remembered my name and checked in with me all day!! To the referee assigned to the group –Colin… What a day! The party ranged in age from 15- 21. They all had a blast. It was cold! There was some ice…. But not one complaint was heard from them. They are keen to come back and play.  I didn’t know what to expect. As a non-participant (seriously at 44, I cannot go hard like those kids can), I had wonderful conversation, a great bonfire to keep me warm, and the knowledge that the partiers were safe, supervised and enjoying the day. I marveled at how kind and friendly all of the other groups of players were. You have an amazing set up!  The group loved their ref Colin. Thank you for making me the “best mom” with no effort on my part LOL. We will be back!!   – Jessica C

I’ve paintballed a bunch of times and been to a few fields but none can or could compare to my experience at Skimish Paintball. This was my first time here surprisingly. It was amazing with all the fields they had to offer, the organized games even with the sheer size of players. Tech area was friendly and helped with everything. The pro shop had everything I needed. And the cherry on top was the amazing Refs we had with Avery and Pocket. They made the experience that much more fun and is what will make me want to come back to Skirmish USA. Had the great opportunity to visit your fields on April 6, 2013. I must say that out of all the paintball playing fields I have visited, Skirmish has been the best. Every other field out there has high bar to meet, set by you guys, and that bar is maintained high by your refs. I had a party of a total of 16 members, age ranging from 10yrs old to early 30s. We all had a blast, and the refs made sure that happened. Rob Cunningham and Keenan Morrison were great Refs. They both interacted with each member of my group accordingly and professionally. I admire the fact that Rob and Keenan’s priority was always our safety, especially looking out for the little ones. I couldn’t have asked for more out of these two gentlemen. We are already planning the next adventure in your fields.  – Bernabe D

I don’t know if it can be used but it just came to mind. ADIDAS (All Day I Dream About Skirmish). Which is probably somewhat true. My wife asked me once, if I die do I wanna be cremated, or put in a drawer. I said “if I die, have me cremated, and spread my ashes at the Tippmann Castle.” I don’t think she liked my answer. I just wanted to drop a line to you and tell you how awesome of outfit you all have going there. However and more importantly, I wanted to tell you how excellent your employees are at delivering first class customer service.

Some of my work and personal families got together on Sat the 23rd to play. Some of us have extensive experience and some didn’t. Your staff working the check-in and rentals were great. Super friendly and seemed to really enjoy interacting with the customers. But I have to tell you, the referees were TOP NOTCH. Every single one of them that I encountered all day long could not have been more cordial, friendly and helpful.

Customer service is the name of the game at Skirmish and it shows. Because of the way that we were treated yesterday, I am already planning our next visit.

Goodluck is a pretty sweet map all in all. It doesn’t see much play due to it’s location so it doesn’t have what I call white tree syndrome. It’s a cool mix of pine swamp and more open canopy spread over about 5 acres. These pictures were taken after a rain storm so while parts of this are damp year round normally there isn’t as much standing water. This is an old school field and requires old school tactics. So break out the face-paint and camos before playing here. Any strategy suggestion are more then welcome in the comments below!

If the world does end on Friday, December 21, 2012, I would like to spend my last moments playing paintball at Skirmish USA!   ~Ivan

I wanted to say what a great place Skirmish is. I was in a group of 5 that showed up after driving 3 hours on the 14th of Dec to play 1/2 price paint day. We were the only ones there and they still let us play. We were able to play any field; the container field was awesome with so few people. The ref (Mike Gold) was great and we had a blast. Not many places would allow 5 people to play.   ~Shawn M.

Myself and three friends played with you guys last weekend, and our ref suggested we email our feedback to you.  We’ve been playing Skirmish for years, and I wanted to say thank you so much for running such a great field.  All the refs are great, the system is organized, and the pro-shop is helpful.  Your people do a great job of keeping the masses of amateurs organized, so Skirmish veterans like us can still have a good time without spending half our day waiting on the group.  I love your fields and, though I haven’t had the chance to come to any of the large events, I plan to do so soon.  ~Garett

I have been trying to go to Skirmish USA for the past three years and finally it came through on November 23 and 24th. I have been playing paint ball since 1981. Since then I have become a father of 4 kids and tow grandkids. I have played paintball all over the Caribbean and the USA.
Skirmish USA has exceeded my expectations. The entire staff, from registration, guiding, and the judges were outstanding. Pete, as we call him Piña Colada, was so friendly and professional that we requested him on the second day. We are definitely coming back and will recommend this to everyone. I brought a group of 18 mostly-new players to Skirmish USA last Friday.  Everyone reported having a great time.  I know I did.  We had an age range of 15 to 55.  Boys and girls; “older” men and women too.  Everyone played nicely, laughed a lot and now wants to make this a yearly post-Thanksgiving tradition.  Actually, the younger folks want to come back sooner!  The older group will wait until the aches and pains subside.  Thanks especially to Tyler and James “Peach” for keeping everyone safe and for tolerating all our questions.  (We had one player who had trouble comprehending Tyler’s directions for the safety rule “surrender or die.”  That was riot.)  All the staff were pleasant and helpful, so thanks should go to everyone there.  But Tyler and James, in particular, did an outstanding job.   ~John L.

Kids Play Free Paintball at Skirmish

This is a NEW Skirmish Paintball event we created with the upcoming generation of paintball players in mind.

Bring your kids to try paintball & introduce them to the sport you love.   All kids ages 10 to 13 play Skirmish for FREE.  Includes paintball gun, goggles/facemask, unlimited N2 air fills, Skirmish referees, and all day play.

So, Mom and Dad, you don’t play paintball but your kids want to?  No Worries!  Parents do not have to play or pay to be a paintball spectator.   If you want to watch the games from the sidelines, just let us know.  We will ask that you fill out a Skirmish liability waiver,  give you a complimentary pair of paintball goggles, and send you with your children so you can watch them from the safe zone.   You are also welcome to come check them in, meet their referees, then head out to explore the town of Jim Thorpe or enjoy a little outlet shopping.    Your children are in great hands with our staff and we love teaching them the sport of paintball but you must come back and pick them up at the end of the day.
