Vietnam, 1968: Vietcong forces along with NVA forces break the traditional “cease fire” during the Tet holiday and start a major offensive, sweeping down the country. The Vietcong and NVA quickly take control of many key provinces and cities in South Vietnam. Military bases and the cities of Saigon and Hue are under heavy siege by the V.C. and the NVA. Only a Small number of MP’s are in the cities and must try to defend the city and the embassy in Saigon were high ranked city officials are located. The little military that are left in the cities must not let the cities fall and have to wait till more support from infantry arrives. The U.S. have to try to take back these key places so they can then turn their attention on recapturing south Vietnam, and then push  V.C. and NVA forces back to the Cambodian border.

In order to simplify the registration process on game day, we ask all players to print a copy of Skirmish USA’s waiver and have it completed when they arrive.

Skirmish Paintball Waiver

Teams:

GREEN-(Americans)-  Woodland, OD, Tiger Stripe, (NO DIGITAL CAMO, NO MULTICAM)

TAN-(NVA, VC)-  Tan, black, Blue, white (NO CAMOFLAGE)

Strongly Reccomended  Gear:

US: ALICE gear, m16 style weapons with no attachments, helmets with no attachments

NVA/VC: minimal gear, backpacks, AK’s and russian weapons preferred.

The best impression of an era American and NVA/VC will be awarded prizes

Rules:

-All players must have a barrel cover, they will be available for sale at Skirmish.

-All players must have FULL SEAL GOGGLES; NO MESH! NO SHOOTING/SAFETY GLASSES! If you do not bring the appropriate eyewear you will not be able to participate!

Weapon Requirements:

400fps w/ .25g BBs for AEGs

500fps w .25g BBs for Bolt Actions

rules for gas guns are currently being determined

Ankle supporting boots (No sneakers!)

Keep in mind, this game is going to be what you make it. This is not a serious reenacting venture, it is an airsoft game with a Vietnam theme. Play the part if you can, come out and have fun!
