Job Summary: The Skirmish Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the check-in building and pavilion area including all of the activities that occur in and around that location. On weekends, it is not uncommon to check in 20 groups while also accepting walk-in reservations. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Hiring, staffing and coaching the front desk, and associated cashier personnel
- Overseeing paint sales and camo rentals, monitoring cash flow, and inventory
- Addressing guest requests, complaints and/or issues as they arise
- Working directly with large group leaders to ensure a smooth front desk experience
- Staffing and working with greeters
- Leading enhancement and change to the check-in procedure as needed to simplify the guest experience.
- Regular coordination with the Reservations Manager on streamlining reservation and front desk interactions.
Criteria: The Skirmish Front Desk Manager must be energetic and able to work in a dynamic, high traffic environment. Additional requirements of the job include:
- Prior reservation system experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Organized
- Ability to work with limited direction
- Basic level of physical fitness- applicants will be on their feet all day
- Capacity to work with large groups of people from various backgrounds.
Schedule: This is a full time position that includes weekends.
